Dispatcher/Office Administrator Job at SC Express Charleston
A leading full-service transportation company is seeking a fulltime reservationist and dispatcher. This position is currently for Sunday thru Thursday (3pm to 11pm) . Responsibilities include answering multiple phone lines, basic computer skills, quoting potential customers, updating social media accounts, and understanding and following directions. Qualified candidates must have good communication skills, social media skills and work well with others. This job also includes duties such as dispatching drivers to needed locations and tracking inbound and outbound airline flights. Requirements and successful skills include:
· Proper phone etiquette
. Ability to read and understand directions from emails
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Reliable transportation
· Composing a well-written email to potential customers
· Making and taking accurate reservations over the phone and emails
· Track vehicles and inbound flights using GPS tracking software
· Work well in a professional setting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
