POSITION SUMMARY
This position assures that all deliveries are made on a daily basis. The person in this position schedules time off for drivers and runs routes as needed. This position requires a Class A CDL license.
Essential Functions Statement(s)
· Assure that trucks go out with deliveries daily.
· Assure that there are adequate drivers for each route daily.
· Schedule driver vacation and other time off.
· Run routes as needed.
· Submit absence information weekly for payroll.
· Check stores for out-of-date product. Check for adequate rotation of product.
· Check with store managers on driver satisfaction.
· Check seasonal supplies for truck safety, Ex. Snow chains for tires.
· Use judgment for all weather trends to assure safety of drivers and vehicles.
· Contact customers with complaints about specific drivers.
· Serve as liaison between distribution and sales.
· Other duties as assigned within the core function of this job.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
