Alpha Dog Training's Pooch Palace LLC is a dog daycare, boarding and training facility. We are the only place in town with a huge full sized pool who also spend a lot of time throwing balls around for the dogs. We also have very few injuries even with the pool and balls being thrown because we are owned by a professional dog trainer who has a proven system for allowing dogs to be dogs while also keeping them controlled. This job will keep you moving so if you need to sit a good bit, this is not a good fit for you.

The Pooch Palace is a dog daycare and boarding facility. We are also tied to alpha dog training, a dog training company. We are hiring for full time and part time positions. All shifts except for part time morning help will involve learning pretty much all aspects of the business and helping everywhere needed. The part time morning position will be customer service help for the most part. All other positions will Involve learning and helping to play with and control the dogs as well as customer service and cleaning and helping feed and medicate dogs as well. If you love dogs it is a great job but it is high paced and there is not a lot of time to sit. The biggest downside is the fact at we never close. We are open open 365 days a year so time off around holidays is hard to come by because that is when we are at our busiest. If you can't work weekend shifts, please don't apply for full time position. We do our best to spread out the weekend work so nobody has to work all weekend, but sometimes that's just how it goes. Please be responsible, mature, able to focus on the job at hand, reliable, have a positive attitude and great customer service skills, and able to do some manual labor (mostly just cleaning). We need people who are great with people and dogs, not one or the other. The listed pay is for beginners, those who stick around and get into managing make more than the listed pay and we need managers as we are a growing company with plenty of room for advancement. We prefer someone who would like to make a career of working with animals and not someone just looking for a temporary job, however we will consider anyone with the characteristics listed above. Shifts are 7-12 and 2-7 each day with a 2 hour break from 12-2. If you love dogs, this is a great job with lots of great people to work with as we are all animal lovers but also understand that this job is serious because those who don't focus can be responsible for animals being neglected, which is something we will not tolerate, so please understand that you are applying for a job where you are taking care of people's family members and they need your constant attention to keep them out of harm's way. If your mind wanders and you have a hard time focusing on one thing for more than a few minutes, this is not a good job for you because the dogs and their owners deserve your absolute undivided attention and while it is a fun job, it is also a very serious responsibility.
