ON THE SPOT is a professional pet sitting and dog walking company that has been providing quality pet care services in the North Atlanta Metro area since 2009. ON THE SPOT is seeking to hire FULL-TIME OR PART TIME MIDDAY DOG WALKERS to help service the Smyrna area. Applicants must be mature, responsible, punctual, and knowledgeable of basic pet care requirements. Physical activity is required. This is a very rewarding job that demands dedication and attention to detail.

CANDIDATES MUST:

• Be 21 years or older.
• Be passionate about animals.
• Be able to work with animals of all sizes and temperaments.
• Be physically fit and able to walk large dogs, lift a 25-30 lb. bag of cat litter, kneel down to pet and play with smaller animals and clean litter boxes, plus perform other tasks.
• Possess excellent customer service, communication, and follow up skills.
• Be honest and reliable with a high standard of excellence for yourself.
• Have the integrity and trustworthiness to work with little direct supervision.
• Be flexible and have good time management skills.
• Have access to an insured, reliable car (or other motorized vehicle).
• Have a cell phone with texting capability, smartphone is a plus.
• Have daily access to a computer with internet access and a reliable printer.
• Be willing to commit to working for ON THE SPOT for at least 6 months.
• Be able to provide references.
• Be willing to submit to and pass a background check.

MIDDAY DOG WALKERS must have availability Monday - Friday, flexible schedule where you can work anytime between 10:30 a.m. & 4:30 p.m.

Tasks include the following:

• Walking dogs.
• Playing and/or providing affection and attention to client's pets.
• Poop patrol in the client's yard and/or on walks.
• Checking and freshening up or topping off water bowls.
• Writing notes/texts to clients letting them know how their pets did under our care.
