Job Summary:
You are an experienced surface mine Driller who takes pride in the safe and efficient operation of production mining equipment in a surface pit operation. You will be operating a DM45 drill in a large open pit surface mine. You are a driven individual, who continuously looks for opportunities to learn and grow.- Long term & stable career opportunity!

Essential Responsibilities:
- Operation of DM45 deck drill
- Operates and understands mechanics of a top head drilling unit equipped with multi-function joy sticks and GPS on a mine site
- Drill blast holes 23' in depth
- Complies with all company, client, legislated safety policies and procedures of drilling in a large open pit surface mine
- Understands the limitations of the drill rig and the performances it can safely provide
- Detects and performs small mechanical repairs to the drill
- Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Qualifications:
- Minimum two year's surface mine drilling experience, using a DM45 drilling unit
- Must have thorough knowledge of drill patterns ad the structure in which they are developed
- MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal ticket is required; training and support is provided to obtain or update certificate as needed.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Must be able to arrange own accommodations, various options available in Eureka, Ely, or nearby RV parks
Work Conditions:
- Employee benefits package and 401k plan participation offered after 60 days of continuous employment
- Rotation of 5/4, 12-hour day shifts; night shifts are required
- Ability to work overtime may be required
