Crosstown Courier is looking to hire a driver for our Syracuse, NY office. Under general supervision, our couriers are responsible for providing courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of various items with an emphasis on safety and customer service.

Essential Duties:

• Receive daily route information from a centralized dispatcher
• Safely transport lab specimens, medical records, supplies, interoffice mail and other related materials
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior
• Present a professional image to clients and public through appearance and interaction
• Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation and adaptability with teammates and clients
• All other job-related duties as customer designates

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Must be a minimum of 24 years old

• Valid and current driver's license
• Clean driving history
• Reliable, registered and insured vehicle
• Ability to complete and maintain satisfactory completion of specialized training regarding the transportation of goods with special handling requirements including but not limited to dry ice, clinical samples and/or medical products
• Ability to follow procedures closely
• Familiarity working with or adapting to technology
• Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50lbs
