Local trucking company is seeking a Driver Recruiter. The Driver Recruiter is charged with the critical tasks of marketing, recruiting, and hiring qualified, safe, and reliable drivers. Hiring & orientating the drivers into the organization for a successful career is the #1 priority.

Responsibilities of the Driver Recruiter:

• Utilize and monitor social media to market the company and attract potential drivers.
• Work with Operations and Leadership to understand the Company’s driver staffing needs, and work with our marketing vendor to implement creative and effective advertising campaigns based on those needs.
• Interview, screen, and qualify applicants to fill existing openings while maintaining current knowledge of the Company’s hiring criteria, as well as maintaining and promoting the Company’s safety goals.
• Read, review, and understand MVRs (driving records).
• Stay up to date on industry trends and its rules and regulations.
• Offer Driver applicants the most current information. Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
• Utilize computers and computer systems to set up functions, enter data, and track information, while ensuring that safety policies and procedures are followed to the highest standard.
• Effectively communicate to Drivers company culture, our facilities, operations, benefits, pay, and company policies.

Requirements of the Driver Recruiter:

• Computer literacy and familiarity with social media and various computer programs such as MS Office
• Strong sales skills and target-driven
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to cultivate and build relationships
• Personable and reliable
• Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented
• Strong follow-up skills
• Ability to cultivate and build relationships
• Must be at least 18 years old

Compensation and Benefits for the Driver Recruiter:

• $15.00+/hr. depending on experience
• Advancement opportunities available, depending on performance and capabilities
