This position is located at Keystone Job Corps in Drums, PA.

Monday Wednesday and Friday 8am to 5pm
Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 7pm
· Responsible to develop and facilitate the Center’s alcohol, drug and tobacco prevention program.
· Educates and counsels students to reduce and prevent drug-related separations from the program.
· Ensures confidentiality of sensitive information and compliance with all HIPAA laws. Assists with center’s HEALS (healthy eating and active lifestyle) program to include; training scheduling and tracking of programs.
· Provides programming assistance and direction during extended evening programs.
· Conducts targeted groups and activities that will assist with retention and development of students.
· Counsel students in group sessions by listening to their stories, concerns or issues and providing feedback, including teaching them coping techniques and offering advice on their current situations
· Educate patients on treatment options, methods and techniques to ensure the student understand the process.
· Maintain records for patient tracking, along with personal files for your use as you work with the patient and create the treatment plan
· Work with the wellness team to collaborate on plans for further treatment.
· Conduct research as needed to develop new treatment methods and to stay up-to-date on changes within the field
A minimum of one year experience in drug/alcohol counseling or related field required. Valid In-State Certification in Substance Abuse Counseling/Prevention required. (CADC) Must meet company insurability requirements and have a valid in-state driver’s license.
In state license must be obtained within 1 year of the start of employment.
