Redwood Coast Regional Center is currently recruiting for an Early Start Coordinator position with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social welfare, psychology, public health, special education, or other related field; and four years experience as a Service Coordinator or similar case-carrying position in a regional center serving persons with developmental disabilities.

Job Overview:
  • Under the supervision of the Client Services Manager, the Early Start Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining the full range of Early Start services within the County.
  • Experience with facilitation of group planning process; planning, implementing and evaluating programs/projects.
  • Interagency collaboration and negotiation
  • Facilitating family/professional collaboration
  • Identifying and assisting in development of resources for parents and professionals.
Necessary skills and abilities:
  • Work independently.
  • Be a self-starter, teach others effectively.
  • Use analytical judgement in complicated situations.
  • High level of communication skills, effective advocate.
  • Possess logical and effective writing skills.
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft software and database software.
  • We require a Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, public health, special education, or other related fields and four years experience.
