Editorial Assistant Job at Colorado Rural Electric Association
A dynamic statewide trade association is looking for an addition to its small but mighty team. This part-time assistant will provide administrative and editorial support for the association's communications department and monthly publication.
Utilizing InDesign, various Adobe Creative Cloud applications, Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel, this role will be responsible for:
- Working with page editors to collect and process magazine content
- Creating various monthly reports for the magazine
- Maintaining in-house subscription lists
- Utilitzing graphic design skills for digital communications
- Researching and writing articles as assigned
- Proofreading content and assets produced by the department
- Assisting with the production of an annual association directory
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with association members, vendors, freelance designers and photographers.
This is a part-time position not to exceed 20 hours per week. This is primarily an in-office role but flexibility for remote work and daily hours may be considered.
The ideal candidate will have InDesign skills, Photoshop skills, writing and proofreading experience, and will contribute creativity and positivity to the department.

Pay: $24.00 per hour
