All employees must receive the required amount of training hours each calendar year per state licensing requirements.

· A minimum of 60 college credit hours with at least 6 credit hours in courses directly related to child care and/or child development from birth to age six

· OR One year (1560 clock hours) of child development experience in a kindergarten, or licensed day care center and 30 college credit hours with at least 6 credit hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, from birth to age six

· OR Completion of an Infant/Toddler or Preschool CDA

· Must be at least 18 years old

Requirements:

• Education/Teaching Degree preferred, or relevant tutoring/coaching/mentoring experience.
• 2 years teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to connect with students.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to multi-task.

About the Education Director role:

Successful Education Directors have a strong focus on both our educational and business goals. We deliver an exceptional level of program quality and outstanding customer experience for both students and parents. Some key skills our Education Directors demonstrate:

• Teach using Kiddie Academy based programs
• Direct and motivate students during instruction
• Meet with parents on program progress and recommend additional programs
• Ensure educational outcomes through program review and modification
• Select, train, and motivate teachers
• Communicate with students’ teachers on foundational skill progress at Kiddie Academy
• Maintain a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching, learning and Kiddie Academy
• Execute administrative tasks that support our educational mission

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.50 - $23.00 per hour
