Description:Electrical Design Engineer to design and analyze military and commercial equipment for various programs. Responsibilities will include working with other engineers to design, analyze, and test equipment. Must be able to work on an integrated product team, interacting with engineers, technicians, subcontractors, customers, and vendors. Ability to grow in the following: printed circuit board design, analog design, power electronics design, RF design, and embedded software/hdl programming. High speed digital design and signal integrity analysis considered a plus. The candidate should also have lab skills and be able to prototype, test, and debug electronics and be capable of worst-case circuit analysis to determine component stresses. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, good organizational skills, computer literacy, and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a team environment. This position also requires above average communication skills; ability and willingness to obtain a security clearance. Occasional travel may be required. The successful candidate may be required to work more than 40 hours a week on short notice.

The entire region is about 100 miles from both New York City and Philadelphia. Archbald is a suburb of Scranton, PA. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
The candidate must be a US citizen.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
