Essential Functions of the Role:

• Designs AC/DC, DC/DC power supplies and mixed signal circuits for RF Amplifiers
• Designs and qualifies of new RF Amplifier Monitoring and Control hardware
• Performs board level and system level verification and validation
• Performs root cause analysis on new and existing products down to component level

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support production testing and trouble-shooting needs
• Ensures that the highest quality standards are being followed throughout the design cycle
• Ensure a healthy and safe environment is maintained
• Follow RTCA/DO-254 process documentation and standard operating procedures
• Hold and attend various meetings to lead and provide effective communication

Key Competencies:

• 2-3 years of experience in designing and supporting production efforts
• Capable of analyzing AC/DC, DC/DC Power supplies, mixed signal designs
• Responsible for components selection and detailed design decisions for AC/DC, DC/DC power supplies and mixed signals
• Experience with mixed signal designs and familiar with various communication protocols (I2C, SPI, RS232/485, Ethernet…)
• Must be able to work from a product specification to produce specific circuit designs
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Comfortable in coordinating with various disciplines
• Work well under pressure to meet program goals
• Proficient at Circuit Simulation using LT Spice or similar programs
• Proficient at Schematic Capture using Altium
• PCB layout experience is an advantage
• Experience with RF systems is a advantage

Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required typing skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
• Must be able to sit for an extended period of time

Work schedule and Benefit highlights:

• 9/80 work schedule
• Hybrid work schedule in addition to 9/80
• Company contributes 3% automatically to 401K

Pay: $70,000 to $100,000
