Role:
Hardware Debug Engineer shall be utilizing technical skills to debug and root cause system hardware issues and closely work with design engineers and come up with fixes for hardware issues
Responsibilities:
- Understand the nature of failure, review the test plan and remove any test setup related issues
- Setup test and measurement equipment (Oscilloscope/ Logic analyzer) to capture and analyze electrical signals
- Root cause failure and communicate the same to design engineers
- Maintain accurate status on hardware debug activities assigned
- Participate in hardware issue fix review
Qualification / Skills:
- Bachelors or Master Degree in Electronics or Electrical or Computer Science Engineering
- At least 2 years of Computer / Server hardware test experience
- Good Understanding of computer architecture and various Hardware components
- Hands on experience in understanding / using Hardware design Schematic and Board Design files
- Hands on experience in debugging / isolating hardware issues at component level
- Hands on experience in choosing and setting up test & measurement equipment like Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzers for measuring and debugging Hardware issues at Electrical signal level
- Ability to run test scripts / test software. Ability to do minor changes in test automation scripts is a plus
- Experience in using MS office suite - Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams etc
- Good Verbal and written communication in English. Ability to work with Global teams
