• High School Diploma/GED
• Associate’s Degree a plus

• 5 years of related hands-on experience with industrial equipment
• Safe working attitude with ability to work with a team or independently
• Ability to be able to change priorities based on work load
• Solid electrical and mechanical experience and knowledge
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
• Experience with AC & DC voltages from 24 to 600 Volts
• Basic welding and fabrication experience is helpful
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Functional experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Safely work daily schedule with quickly changing priorities
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to improve reliability and up time of equipment
• Install equipment, physical structures and pipe and electrical systems in a manufacturing plant environment
• Maintenance and machinery repair in a plastics manufacturing environment
• Facility maintenance as needed, including forklift repair
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, including variable speed drives, 3 phase and single-phase AC and DC motors, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems, gearboxes and bearing repairs, pumps and plumbing
• Perform light plumbing (soldering, sinks, toilets)
• Perform light electric (change light bulbs, ballasts, receptacles)
• Change/repair locks, door closers, etc.
• Identify repairs and select and purchase replacement parts
• Other duties as assigned
