We are looking for motivated Journeyman Electrician with 5+ years hands-on commercial experience in the NYC area to join our growing team.

JOB DUTIES:

• Installation, repair, troubleshooting, inspection, maintenance of various electrical systems including switchgear, panelboards, and generators.
• Ensure safe, proper, and effective installation.
• Be able to identify faults, damage, malfunctions, and/or hazards.
• Installation of lighting fixtures and controls.
• Knowledge of various lighting control system installation and programming (Lutron, Leviton, Acuity, Legrand, Control4, Eaton, Douglas)
• Installation of general wiring, devices, and equipment.
• Familiar with commercial projects and build outs.
• Fire Alarm device installation, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Low voltage wiring and device installation.
• Conduit bending, installation, wire pulling, and termination.
• Be able to perform all of the above in accordance with the National Electrical Code and NYC Code requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ Years of experience with NYC commercial projects
• Must possess a valid SST40 Certification Card
• 1-Hour Ariel Lift Certification
• Dependable, responsible, punctual, and respectful.
• Able to work well with others and be a team player.
• Able to commute to various jobsites throughout the NYC area.
• Able to organize, motivate, and lead crew by example.
• Able to read, interpret, and understand project drawings, plans, and blueprints.
• Adhere to all OSHA safety requirements
• Adhere to all COVID-19 safety requirements.
• Personal hand tools required.
• Must be eligible to work in the US and pass employment verification.

TYPICAL SCHEDULE:

· Monday through Friday

· Day Shift - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

· Occasional overtime on weekdays or Saturdays when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
