Summary: The Electrician – Gate Operators is responsible for installing and repairing electrical or electronic equipment, such as gate operators, and performs on-site post-installation repair, calibration, and maintenance as scheduled or required, applying knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and programming. Responsible for consulting work orders, blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to determine tasks to be performed and the tools, equipment, and parts needed for installation and repair. Directly communicates with customers and manages their expectations, directs other crew members to run all projects in an efficient and safe manner, while keeping the best interest of the company at the forefront.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Electrical or electronic installation and repair training is preferred by not required.
• Experience installing and repairing electrical or electronic equipment, such as gate operators.
• Must be proficient in trouble shooting problems and making system repairs.
• Ability to display organizational skills with Project Manager, scheduling, and servicing.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with good overall interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Willingness/ability to obtain a Gate Operator Installation Certifications, UL325 safety procedures.
• Must be detail orientated, self-motivated and outcome orientated.
