Sturm Heating & Air Conditioning, a leading HVAC contractor in the Greater Spokane area for more than 85 years, is immediately hiring a hard-working and dedicated Licensed Electrician to join our team.

Position: EL01 Electrician
Location: Newbury Park, CA
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with some weekends and overtime as needed to meet business needs
Compensation: Up to $45/hr (DOE)

EL01 Licensed Electrician Position Summary:
The electrician will install and maintain the electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in buildings while supporting our HVAC needs. The electrician will also understand the safety procedures involved with installation and is comfortable using hand tools.

EL01 Licensed Electrician Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• 3+ years of previous electrical experience and the completion of a formal apprenticeship are required.
• WA O1 electrical license required.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be a self-starter with excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read blueprints, extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring, the ability to use hand tools and power tools, proficiency in the use of test meters and diagnostic equipment
• Frequently works in outside weather conditions
• May be required to perform work from ladders and heights
• Requires a high school diploma and/or any equivalent of education and experience to meet the essential functions of the job
• Must have a valid driver's license and remain insurable under our company insurance policy
