Essential Functions:
Essential Functions:
- Provides direct patient care, evaluated outcomes, consults with other specialists as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintains current knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and his/her clinical condition.
- Demonstrates the ability to assist physicians with procedures in the Emergency Department.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
- Minimum of one year clinical experience preferred.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NCI certification with TNCC preferred.
