• Up to $16 per hour

What You Will Be Doing:

MAV - you will be responsible for all wheelchair calls for the day. This position requires you to move in smaller spaces, be aware of your surroundings and have the ability to work independently. You will be providing one on one service to our clients who are traveling by wheelchair.

EVO - you will be responsible for all BLS (stretcher) calls for the day with your EMT partner. You will be driving, assisting and presenting excellent customer service to all clients, facilities and hospitals. You will be in constant contact with Dispatch and your Supervisors to ensure your shift goes smoothly. While your EMT partner will be handling all of the patient details, you will be assisting them with additional duties.

Responsibilities:

• Operates all vehicles safely and professionally in compliance with all laws and regulations.
• Accurately documents all patient information, vitals, facility information, etc.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicles and troubleshooting all equipment and/or supplies to ensure there are enough necessary items available.
• Activates all correct sequences when in transport so Dispatch knows what is happening and deactivates when the shift has been completed for the day.
• Stays in constant communication with Dispatch to ensure all calls are completed correctly or if they need further assistance.
• Ensures all certifications are kept up to date and renewed before the expiration date.

Requirements:

• Valid clean driver’s license from the USA
• At least 21 years of age
• Clear Criminal History Check
• Willing to submit a Pre-Employment Screening (Drug screen, PPD and physical)
• Completing all training for MAV/EVO
• Completing Fingerprinting and Defensive Driving
• Ability to lift, bend, twist and crouch up to 150lbs

• Valid Delaware z-endorsement
• Valid Delaware EVO
• Valid Maryland EVO
• Valid CPR card
