Kenvue is currently recruiting for a Senior Director Global Science Engagement & Activation. This position reports into VP Global Medical & Clinical Sciences and is based in Skillman, NJ.

What will you do

This is a newly created global position with the mission to serve as the strategic leader who will shape and execute how we bring best in class science, data related health insights and education to consumers, healthcare professionals, health advocacy organizations, academic partners, influencers, and other relevant stakeholders within the personal healthcare ecosystem. The key goal being able to consistently better serve the personal health care needs of consumers, patients, caregivers enabling better personal health experiences & outcomes with the health solutions we offer to those we serve. The leader will be the point person to ensure aligned global and regional orchestration of how the pipeline of science assets created within the cross-functional franchise R&D teams are integrated into the total science activation plans through the product innovation lifecycle in market. This leader will partner very closely with the cross-functional Franchise R&D teams and Commercial Franchise leads to help build and deploy the data and science activation playbook for maximum value impact associated with strategic product launches including novel claims, new health education tools for consumers, new publications to the scientific community, toolkits for key influencers, advocacy partners and more. This leader will also serve as the internal and external though leader shaping and unlocking the power of the digital ecosystem to scale scientific engagement with a range of external thought leaders (HCP’s, KOL’s, Influencers) and directly to consumers. A key success factor in the role will be for this leader to bring strong technical excellence, program leadership competencies, influencing without authority, matrix leadership competency, boldly collaborating to co-create the new along with a strong business ownership, innovation & entrepreneurial mindset. This leader will lead a core global team of scientists that will work with translational science partners, regional medical affairs & scientific engagement colleagues in concert with regional and global commercial partners to deliver aligned OKR’s related to Science that Connects, Science that Matters and Science that Creates Impactful Value to all stakeholders we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Global cross-functional Franchise R&D (translational Science)/Commercial teams to shape Science Activation Programs supporting Innovation, Claims, Consumer Education, Digital Science Asset creation, Strategic Publication Planning, Science Communication Plans
• Partner with regional R&D cross-functional teams (medical affairs, scientific engagement, product development) and regional commercial brand teams to enable activation of science that will maximize value creation and capture
• Work with external thought leaders, academic experts, academic societies, academic collaborations, Speaker events, Science Advisory boards, Influencers
• Shape the Strategic Science Activation Plan in concert with the relevant R&D and commercial partners
• Orchestrate the Integration and Dissemination of knowledge, data and science assets relevant to all strategic science opportunities with an intent to maximize innovation value in the marketplace
• Champion Science that Connects, Science that matters and Science that Differentiates Products and solutions we offer for better outcomes and health experiences
• Deliver the End of End Science Activation Program with a Platform, multi-year impact approach to augment value realization of product, health solutions and business model (channel) innovations launched
• Build scientific leaders internally and externally to serve as the scientific voice of the company, science and health literacy educations and industry thought leaders in our areas of product and health solutions offered

What we are looking for

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $182,000 to $315,000.
