Position Summary:
The Director of Student Onboarding and Online Engagement leads the development and execution of a strategic student onboarding plan that focuses on providing high quality service and seamless transitions from application to enrollment. This position serves as a key leader in ensuring all preadmissions functional areas have processes, policies, technology, and resources necessary to optimize student enrollment access and success.

This position is responsible for the online student engagement platform including developing a comprehensive student engagement plan using the online platform.

Strong collaboration and coordination with departments across the college including but not limited to Admission and Records, Recruiting, Financial Aid, Business Office, Testing, Advising, and academic departments.

Responsibilities :
Works with key stakeholders to proactively create preadmission targets and adjust plans and strategies based on data analysis, review of application and enrollment trends, and other metrics to effectively reach student enrollment goals.

Directs preadmissions functions to ensure students who apply receive quality service and are guided through the process for a seamless transition from application to enrollment.

Streamline and refine processes to increase efficiency in the student onboarding process and ensure students move through the preadmission funnel successfully.

Collaborates with the college’s marketing department to develop and implement a comprehensive preadmissions communication plan for students.

Supervises the Enrollment Support team and the Coordinator for Orientation and Online Student Engagement

Implements team performance guidelines and goals. Meets with staff to review work activities and progress. Sets work priorities and focus direction.

Leads the New Student Orientation program. Coordinate with campuses and departments to plan and update content, schedule, and implement both the online and face-to-face components of orientation.

Create the strategic plan for the online student engagement platform and leads the implementation of measurable student engagement growth.

Contract Manager for the 3rd Party call center contract.

This is the fifth of six levels in the Student Support Professional series. The classification is responsible for directing the activities of an assigned oversight of a student services unit or program. Incumbents coordinate the activities of the area which includes supervision of staff; providing technical direction; resolving complaints/problems; ensuring compliance with regulatory and policy requirements; recommending improvements for service delivery and operating procedures; keeping abreast of current trends and practices; and assessing resource needs. Incumbents will develop strategies to accomplish goals, implement policies and procedures, and develop and monitor an assigned budget. Incumbents may need to perform professional level work within assignment and may supervise employees or student workers.

Requirements:
Education:
Master's degree in a related field to assigned area.

Experience:
Three (3) years of related experience.
