Change Request Engineer

On Site- Waukesha, WI

The person in this role works in one or more customer engineering project teams performing assigned tasks that support the execution and timely completion of the engineering projects. Work at this level includes the basic product design, testing, and analysis to develop products, tools, engines, machines, or electrical components.

The person in this role works under the supervision of more senior engineers to design solutions for the customer or implement, maintain, and improve manufacturing tools and methods. At this level, work is more routine, with instruction provided at a detailed level. This person has indirect customer interaction and is indirectly responsible for customer satisfaction. This individual may work on multiple projects but usually assists other engineers.

Most projects require formalized product development processes, system engineering, and lean product development methodologies. This role applies general knowledge of engineering principles to analyze, research, evaluate, install, operate, or maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements.

This person performs design, modeling, drafting, testing, and analysis tasks. The person in this role ensures the timely, thorough, and accurate completion of engineering tasks.

Duties

• Update CAD models to match the change requests

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or something similar
• Proven working experience in mechanical engineering
• Familiarity with Creo/Windchill for 2D/3D modeling
• Solid understanding of core concepts of Engineering
