We are currently looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to use their expertise to plan, direct and coordinate the development of new products and designs. Responsibilities include leading the research and development stage of projects, creating detailed project plans, and proposing budgets, staffing, and equipment needs. A leadership style that is firm and goal-oriented, and yet motivates, trains, and enthusiastically engages others is important.

The focus of this job is on achieving results that are aligned with the larger picture of the organization and its strategic goals. Initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions, is the key to achieving the performance objectives of this job. Because environmental and organizational conditions change rapidly, the work involves innovation and creativity in generating ideas for quick response. Requirements:


PRINCIPAL DUTIES

  • Develop appropriate strategies for implementing requirements across a broad range of tasks and initiatives
  • Communicate with principal project engineers, technical tradesmen, etc. in order to track project cost and schedule milestones, maintain quality assurance processes, and keep the focus on delivering project commitments
  • Facilitate and lead the creation of task/project budgets, work breakdowns, rough order estimates, and task prioritization
  • Coordinate, resolve, or assist in the resolution of conflicts and other issues and recommend/provide solutions
  • Recommend, plan, and schedule operational training to prepare for and execute project tasks
  • Develop project-specific processes and procedures
  • Prepare reports and other associated project and/or program documentation

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 2+ years of related experience
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Organization and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Open office environment with production warehouse attached
  • Work hours M-F (hours to be determined)

COMPENSATION

  • Exempt position; Pay range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually, plus bonus options
  • Final compensation will be determined and based on experience
  • This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs, and other considerations permitted by law
