Job Description:
AMA is seeking an Enterprise Application Developer to support a growing group of developers tackling a diverse set of technology projects. The primary task will include building content management systems using Ruby on Rails and creating SharePoint custom applications. Design and code reviews will be required as well as customer engagement to develop requirements. This position requires a strong technical aptitude with the ability to rapidly learn new tools and disciplines. The position will be onsite in Huntsville, AL.
Requirements:
Required:
· B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or work experience equivalent in field.
· Minimum 2 years’ experience programming of web applications
· Experience with tools for creating SharePoint sites and solutions. Tools such as PowerApps, Power Automate, Nintex forms and workflows, or similar technologies; SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Visual Studio, VS Code, Node.js, ReactJS, Angular, or similar technologies; REST API, JSON, or similar technologies.
· Experience as SharePoint Online O365 Developer or Administrator.
· SQL database development and maintenance with MySQL, Postgres, or a similar application
· Creating/Updating complex SQL Views and Stored Procedures
· Proficiency in JAVA and API development, Ruby, C/C++, PHP, Java script, and Python
· Must have experience with HTML, CSS, and with creating/maintaining websites
· Experience in source code management, release management and deployment procedures in a multi-tier application architecture
Desired
· Experience with Ruby on Rails framework
· Experience with middleware, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
· Experience with React, SQL Server, XML and Azure services.
