Rotating/Swing Shift

$20.00/hour

Are you looking for a new opportunity? Our client is seeking inpiduals to join their team. Candidates must be able to work a rotating, swing shift.

This position has responsibility for the operation, troubleshooting, and optimization of PWW treatment systems, SBM lime treatments, and plant utilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Process Wastewater/SBM Treatment

• Operation of PWW treatment equipment
• Operation of SBM lime stabilization systems
• Recording necessary information for departmental databases
• Maintaining compliance with pertinent permit operating conditions
• Performing PM procedures for equipment
• Collecting wastewater samples and conducting lab analyses for pertinent process control paraments
• Perform job duties in a manner that supports Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies and regulations, and contribute to improving results int these areas

Utilities

• Operation of utilities equipment including, but not limited to, boilers, chillers, air compressors and cooling towers.
• Performing startup, monitoring and shutdown of utilities equipment
• Recording necessary information for departmental databases
• Maintaining compliance with pertinent permit operating conditions
• Performing PM procedures for equipment
• Assisting in repair of equipment
• Collecting water samples and conducting lab analyses for pertinent process control parameters
• Perform job duties in a manner that supports Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies and regulation and contribute to improving results in these areas

SBM Application Compliance/Maintenance

• Ensure SBM application sites are set up and permit compliance is adhered to
• Performing PM procedures for equipment
• Assisting in repair of equipment
• Work with SBM contractor to make sure SBM sites are suitable for both delivery trucks and application equipment and are able to operate safely while staying in compliance

Data Management

• Relevant data collection, entry and preparation of reports are required for areas of assigned responsibility
• Operators are expected to develop adequate competence in data management to support environmental reporting requirements
• Competence in site-wide information systems, such as SAP

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Good oral and written communication skill
• Good math/arithmetic skills
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Manufacturing experience
• Wastewater and utilities experience is a plus
