Environmental Compliance Specialist Job at Penn Hiring
Job Descriptions:
Provide support to Project Managers by performing routine aspects of environmental compliance assignments.
Essential Duties:
- Compliance Reporting (SARA, Air, Waste, Water, etc.)
- Compliance Permitting (Air, Waste, Water, etc.)
- Compliance Plan Development (EERP, SPCC, PPC, ICP, etc.)
- Compliance Audits (Federal, State, Local)
- Site Inspections (Waste, storm water, industrial discharges, air, etc.)
- Environmental Assessments, as needed
- Possible Project Management tasks (billing, project tracking, proposals, etc.)
Education/ Certification Requirements:
- Desired Education: 4-year degree in Environmental Science or similar field of study preferred
Experience Requirements:
- Three – five years’ experience in environmental compliance, permitting, reporting, plan development, site assessments, audit assistance, etc.
Competencies:
- Environmental regulations and consulting
- Environmental reporting
- Environmental permitting
- Excel
- Plan writing/development

Working Conditions under Which the Job is Performed
- Normal – 80-90% office, 10-20% job sites
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
