Your Responsibilities:

  • Collect soil, gas, water, air, and/or building material samples.
  • Properly care for and use field equipment.
  • Gather data within various regulatory compliance monitoring programs.
  • Input data into template reports.
  • Effectively maintain a busy schedule and communicate conflicts to team members and managers.
  • Provide scheduled on-call support for weekend assignments and after-hours emergencies.

What we're looking for:

  • GED or HS diploma required.
  • The ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices.
  • PEC SafeLand training, 40-hour HAZWOPER or similar certification a plus.
  • Provide scheduled on-call support for weekend assignments (once per month) and after hour emergencies.
  • Ability to travel for remote project needs, when necessary.
  • Ability to navigate safely in remote areas across a variety of terrain and in variable weather conditions.
  • Conduct water quality/ soil gas sample events, which includes:
    • communicating with surface owners, regulatory personnel, and laboratories,
    • diligent navigation, time management, note taking abilities,
    • mapping/spatial awareness, and safety / safety culture understanding,
    • critical thinking, questioning, and attention to detail, &
    • ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
  • Light construction experience/hands-on skills a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite are required.
  • Oil and gas industry experience and knowledge of drilling and production equipment a plus.
