Candidates Must: Possess a Chauffeur license or have the ability to get one upon hire and have reliable transportation to and from work daily. Essential Personal Characteristics, Skills, Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to-

>Self-motivated.

>Be physically fit and capable of the required job duties. Should be able to lift up to 50LB.

>Works well independently as well as with others.

>Be flexible and willing to cross perform or be cross trained to other aspects of the company, such as Lawn Care, Lawn Maintenance, Snow and Ice management or Estimating.

>Proficient in reading maps. Blueprints and landscape designs a plus.

>Ability to manage time so that the daily schedule is done in an efficient manner.

>Comfortable driving vehicles while towing trailers. Able to attach, park and detach trailer safely. Be familiar with securing loads to DOT specs.

>Work in variable weather conditions and supply own weatherproof clothing and boots.

>Ensure safe working environment (equipment functioning properly, equipment securely stored and tied down during transportation, appropriate PPE is being used) Abide by and assist in enforcement of company safety protocols.

>Able to operate skid steers, compact tractors, masonry saws, compactors, trenchers, brick saws and All related hand and power tools.

>Understanding weekly schedule as it pertains to job completion and company performance, as well as the rest of the crews.

>Able to do basic diagnosis of problems that arise with equipment, and able to report problems to management.

>Work directly with Supervisor to achieve daily and weekly goals.

> Maintain neat and clean vehicle, trailer and equipment.

>Perform / assist with necessary equipment maintenance

>Experience with the following equipment is necessary:

>Skid Steers

>Compact Tractors

>Light and Medium Duty trucks with and without trailers.

The following items are a plus:

>Brick and Masonry saws.

>Chain Saws

>Laser Levels

>Wheel barrows, and hand tools

Year Round Position available: Candidates will have the opportunity to clear snow in the winter months working on commercial accounts.

WCLS offers paid holidays, paid vacation time, bonuses and uniforms to qualifying full time, permanent team members. Insurance also available.

Types of work to be performed include but are not limited to county roadsides and highways, large area and rough mowing with up to 20' batwing mowers, Installing Plant Material, Mulch, Irrigation, Retaining Walls, Paver Patios and much more.
