The Escort is primarily responsible for escorting uncleared individuals into designated buildings and property, protecting equipment and material, and controlling access to installations and buildings by employees and visitors.

Pay Rate: $24.30 per hour plus $4.41per hour towards Health and Welfare

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm Full-Time

Required Skills, Experience, and Certifications:

• Current and active Top Secret Security Clearance and ability to maintain that clearance
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in a building of a similar size
• Knowledge of building trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) a plus but not required
• Ability to gain basic understanding of building trades
• Ability to complete all assigned work accurately and in a timely manner
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a variety of employees, visitors, and customers

Essential Job Functions:

• Escorts subcontractors, new employees, and visitors according to govt agency policies.
• Monitor the safety of the staff and notify the contract Project Manager and the Safety staff immediately of unsafe working conditions.
• Ensures proper housekeeping practices are strictly adhered to.
• Inform supervisor of unique situations and problems encountered.
• Communicates/updates supervisor on progress of jobs being performed.
• Meets safety performance standards and completing all work safely.
• Ability to work overtime as needed afterhours or on weekends.
• Knowledge of general safety and security standards.
• Ability to act quickly and calmly in an emergency.
• Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures and Personnel policies
• Complete all mandated trainings
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Working Environment:

Work takes place in a large, complex facility with exposure to varying noise levels due to equipment. This position will perform work in an indoor and outdoor setting with exposure to different temperatures and weather conditions
