Tejas Land & Title in Waco, TX is seeking a Branch Manager/Escrow Officer/Business Development Rep. Tejas Land & Title is a full-service title company serving real estate companies, home builders, corporations and financial institutions in support of residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Management Duties:

  • Managing day to day operations of the branch, in order to grow the Company’s customer base and business.
  • Build office morale and encourage growth and advancement opportunities.
  • Set positive office atmosphere for branch employees and instill high customer service levels and expectations.
  • Work directly with upper management when needing to counsel employees on any issues, as well as handling any performance reviews.
  • Manage compliance within the branch with regard to company policies and procedures well as audit compliance.
  • Provide coverage or find solutions for staff coverage, as needed, for vacations, emergencies, sick time or leave situations

Escrow Officer Duties:

  • Working closely with clients to accomplish a closed transaction in a timely, efficient and error-free manner.
  • Prepare CD/HUD1 Settlement Statement and all other closing documents necessary for the transaction.
  • Order updates from the underwriter and determine clearance to close.
  • Meeting with clients to execute closing and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Participate in Marketing/Entertainment to increase customer base.

The Business Development Representative Duties:

  • Daily performance of all related marketing and sales promotion of your branches, staff, and the company as a whole.
  • Successfully recruiting new business consistently.
  • Servicing selected current accounts as determined by Company.
  • Working closely with Escrow Teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Monitoring daily reports to identify lost business or client trends.
  • Attend events/functions for networking and business development, including evenings, team and one-on-one meetings, all as directed by management.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, well organized person with a strong work ethic and desire to find solutions to help customers have a truly remarkable experience closing their real estate transactions, as well as to successfully build business

A High School diploma or equivalent is required

Seven years of escrow processing and closing experience is required

Ability to also perform as Sales Rep, successfully building business for branch and Company

Technical knowledge of the closing process is required

Qualia Closing Software knowledge helpful, but not required

Microsoft Suite proficient

Reliable transportation required
