Henhouse Cafe is looking for a working executive chef to join our team. We are locally owned restaurants, with 4 locations. We started in Gilbert and have expanded to Tempe and Mesa. We have been voted best in Gilbert, Best in Mesa, Best in Chandler. We serve breakfast and lunch. Breakfast being the majority of our business. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working.

Highlights:

• You will never work late nights as we are open from 6:30am until 2:00pm every day.

Qualifications

*The applicant will be expected to have experience in a breakfast setting, cooking eggs, and be a fast learner. *Experience working as a sous chef or chef *High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines *Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed *Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volume

Responsibilities

*Position is a working Chef, so running the Pass or leading the line cooking eggs is the primary role as we are Breakfast driven restaurant. *Weekends are required, and cooking/prepping during the week. *Train and develop chefs to company standards *Work with Staff to Create new dishes and menus in accordance with business needs *Manage food inventory, place food orders, and arrange re-stock accordingly *Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation depends on your experience.
