Job Responsibilities
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
- Manage day to day activities of the housekeeping department.
- Plan, schedule and organize work within the housekeeping department to ensure proper coverage.
- Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
- Prepare and adjust weekly work schedules in accordance with the staffing guidelines and labor forecasts.
- Ensure that staff report to work as scheduled. Document any late or absent team members.
- Select, train, supervise, develop, discipline, and counsel team members accordingly.
- Ensure staff is properly trained and has the tools to do their job.
- Monitor, coordinate, and execute the special needs and requests of VIP, repeat guests, and members of frequency programs.
- Direct, assist, and assure the completion of housekeeping tasks assigned to Room Attendants and Housepersons in guest rooms and corridors to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
