Position Description:
Serco is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team (Hybrid Schedule)! In this position you will be responsible for managing multiple contract(s) with moderate to high risk and visibility within an assigned Business Unit. You will be required to have a high degree of independent and creative judgment applied to highest-level goals and objectives of the corporation and an understanding of FAR/DFARS, GSA Federal Schedules, Federal IDIQ, GWAC contracts, state and local contracting and supplemental acquisition regulations of government agencies.

You will participate in moderately complex proposal activity, conduct negotiations, and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, and other official communications.

In this role you will:
  • Analyze significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure and communicates results to subordinates.
  • Develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiation team on contractual issues of varying complexity.
  • Analyze new law, regulation and contract trends for potential impact on business unit goals and objectives.
  • Review and manage contractual obligations and provide appropriate level of review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.
  • Work with different contract types (FFP, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrids), modify contracts and exercise options, terminate and closes out contracts.
  • Be familiar with GSA Schedules, GSA Contracts, FAR, DFARS and other agency supplements in order to quickly perform sophisticated risk analysis for new and ongoing opportunities desired.
  • Have a focal point for communication with Finance, Legal and business team members for resolution of contract matters and disputes.
  • Act as liaison between our internal client and the end customer Contracting Officer/Buyer.
  • Assist in identification, development and implementation of new contract policy and processes.
  • Have an understanding of the business being conducted and an understanding of financial/analytical issues and profit and loss implications.
  • Interact with internal and external customers in accordance with company's policies and procedures, applicable laws, customer requirements, and sound business judgment.
  • Perform tasks with increasing complexity and requiring detailed analysis and research.
  • May be assigned department compliance support actions such as review of database accuracy, analysis of CostPoint information, or special projects as needed.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • United States Citizenship is required
  • Travel up to 10%
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience required
  • Intermediate skills using MS Office applications
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Organized, task oriented, reliable, communicative, and responsive
