Do you have experience running laundry operations in hotels, vacation rentals, or dry cleaners?

We are looking for a part-time employee 3-5 days per week, to join our small team starting mid-April.

Your tasks will be picking up bags of dirty linens at our Ka'anapali storage, before 7pm and running laundry with sheets, towels etc, at the Lahaina Laundromat, mostly evening/night (after 5pm) or early morning (packed clean bags must be returned to storage by 9am), and pack the bags according to our packing list, do pickups and deliveries to the nearby units, with occasional trips to our Kihei & Kahului storages, and shop for supplies, mostly at Costco & Target.

On the books at-will W2 part-time position (sorry we don't do 1099) Possibility to upgrade to full-time with more linens deliveries and making beds in the units during the day. Full-time comes with health, dental & vision insurance.

Changing schedule depending on the volume of laundry in our vacation rentals (50+ units). Only 1-2 days off per week. We prefer fixed day but we can potentially adapt to a changing schedule too.

Pay starts $16/hr for the first 2 days in training, $20 afterwards, and on top of that you will be eligible for bonuses up to 30% after your first month (can go as high as $28/hr after 3 months) if you work fast and do a great job consistently.

Must be authorized to work in the US and able to carry up to 50lbs in a fast-paced environment. Must be reliable, detail-oriented and make sure things are properly packed, and that there's no hair nor stain in there.

Must have a valid Hawai'i driving license and a smartphone.

You must have a reliable, legal and insured SUV or Truck to be able to haul the bags of laundry. Your time is paid for driving from our Ka'aanapali storage to Lahaina Laundromat and back, or any other required trips to the properties, or to South or Central Maui. On top of your hourly pay, you will also be paid $0.655 per mile for the use of your personal vehicle, which covers gas, insurance, and maintenance.
