EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Successfully pass WV DHHR Protected Services Record Check and WV CARES fingerprint-based criminal background check.
3. Valid driver’s license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
EXPERIENCE:
1. Experience in Healthcare industry preferred.
2. Experience with moving equipment and furniture preferred.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. They are not intended to be constructed as an all-inclusive list of all responsibilities and duties. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Schedules, coordinates, and stages furniture/equipment moves within WVU Hospitals, Inc., WVU Medicine clinics, offsite offices, and warehouses.
2. Maintains current warehouse inventories for four different locations.
3. Works with stakeholders to coordinate disposal of legacy furniture/equipment.
3. Coordinates active inventory with the directors of the CART program to provide useable inventory to WVU Medicine affiliates.
4. Develops methods to monitor inventories to assure active recirculation of items, and determine when materials can be salvaged.
5. Performs weekly rounds on hospital floors, offsite clinics and office space to generate active inventory lists.
6. Reviews active move work order requests, scheduling moves with requestors, moving equipment/furnishings within WVU Hospitals and its facilities, and moving equipment/furnishings to and from warehouses.

1. Ability to drive single axle box truck.
2. Ability to climb and work from ladders, scaffolding or electric lifts, and operate basic manual cleaning equipment.
3. Ability to operate lifting devices like pallet jack, motorized lifts, and material handling equipment.
4. Must be able to lift and maneuver at least 100 pounds.
