Summary

Provides oversight, leadership, and accountability for facilities, safety/security, engineering and maintenance operational performance to achieve the financial, strategic, and operational goals of hotel management and Emerald Hospitality.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Leadership and hands-on support of the maintenance department’s Chief Engineer and associates.
• Develop and monitor preventative maintenance program. Document and ensure compliance.
• Create and implement departmental SOPs and ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and brand regulations and standards.
• Support Emerald Hospitality’s Operating Budget and Capital Expenditure process including budgeting, forecasting, bidding and selection of potential contractors
• Ensure maintenance supply PAR process is in place and followed; evaluate and update as needed.
• Lead comprehensive Safety Program, including safety awareness, training, incident tracking.
• Ensure compliance with Crisis Management and Emergency preparedness.
• Oversight of third party security vendor.
• Attends all meetings as required.
• Provides assistance to other departments of the hotel to contribute to its smooth operation.
• Maintain a clean, pleasant, and professional image to guests and associates.
• Complies with all hotel policies and procedures
