Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to hire immediately at a manufacturing warehouse located in Lithonia! The ideal candidate should be dependable, have some manufacturing background, have some previous maintenance experience, understands facility tech responsibilities, have reliable transportation, and available to work full time.

Pay Rate: $22.71/hour

Requirements for Facilities Maintenance:
After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Must have some previous manufactuing background and maintenance experience.
• Must know and understand facility technician responsibilities.
• Must be able to consistently lift 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities of Facilities Maintenance:

• Performs general maintenance on building, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform all duties in a safe and collaborative manner and immediately report any potentially dangerous conditions or other safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Start up and shuts down equipment in accordance with operation and OSHA requirements.
• Diagnose and repair activities with detailed working procedures.
• Determines materials, replacement parts, and tools/parts needed to proceed with logical approach to repairs, maintenance and rebuilds.
• Assist in maintaining building needs (heating and cooling systems).
• Maintain tools and work area in a safe, neat and secure manner.
• Maintain daily work logs and update equipment and component records.
• Maintain lubrication schedules.
• Promote and comply with good safety practices and habits.
• Perform monthly facility related inspections.
• Maintain facility fixtures.

Shift Details: 1st Shift Available!

• 1st: 5-6 Days a week – 5:00AM-5:00PM
