OnsiteThe CT Laboratory is part of the Materials & Process Engineering department; a team providing failure analysis, design support, materials characterization, contamination analysis, and operations support to the company.
Onsite:
- The work associated with this position will be performed onsite.
Occasionally will lift up to 20 pounds.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate multiple state-of-the-art Computed Tomography (CT) scanning platforms to accurately generate 2D X-ray images and perform industrial 3D CT scans in support of root cause investigations
- Perform post-processing analyses using volumetric data sets in support of failure analysis projects or research activities at the direction of engineering staff
- Compose engineering reports (through Excel/PowerPoint/Word) documenting work performed and findings of interest
- Assist in other chemistry/metallurgy laboratory activities as required
- Required training to be provided
- Properly operate lab equipment and adhere to all 5S and safety requirements in the work environment
- Maintain accurate records and logs, keep records of developed techniques and maintenance details
- Perform routine maintenance of lab equipment as directed
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
- Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous CAD experience with any of the following software: UG/NX, SolidWorks, Pro/E-Creo, or CATIA
- Previous Digital X-ray, Real Time X-ray, or Computed Tomography experience
- Familiarity with high-throughput screening techniques
