Family Nurse Practitioner Needed Full Time - Part Time Position
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate has experience working autonomously, and experience starting IVs and working with biologic drugs,
- Telehealth proficiency a plus
- DOT Certification will be required for this position, but is NOT required to apply
- Current NP licensure for Mississippi
- Board certified through ANCC or AANP
- Current BLS CPR certification
- Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- CMS provider certification will be required for position, but is NOT required to apply.
Responsibilities:
- The Nurse Practitioner will make sure our patients in Mississippi receive the highest level of care possible in infusion therapy.
- The Nurse Practitioner role is perfect for those wishing to remain at the forefront of healthcare innovation, while having predictable hours, autonomy, and a manageable workload.
- Assess and document the health status of the patients.
- Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
- Assist with annual staff review process including skill competency assessments
- Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care.
- Works with multiple facilities and clients within the market as needed.
- Provide onsite supervision for all patients
