Wallis is hiring candidates for a Fast Track Store Manager program in St. Louis and the surrounding area!
Successful Retail Managers combine both store operational excellence and making an impact on people: employees, customers, and the greater community.
Our program will help you build on your management skills by
- Enabling you to train for 3-6 months (on average) with a tenured store management team
- Showing you how to run an efficient and profitable operation of a single unit convenience store
- Teaching you to manage P&L
- Integrating you into the store operations week by week

- Strive for excellence in daily operation of the store, development of all employees within the store and ensure the best customer service standards are in place.
- Work 50+ hours per week, which can include nights and weekends in addition to covering shifts on short notice in case of emergency.
- Education: Equivalent to high school diploma; Strongly prefer Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience: Required: Minimum 1-3 years of prior leadership experience (keyholder, Assistant Manager, Department Manager, Store Manager, etc.) in a convenience store, quick serve or other retail setting; Strongly prefer 4+ years
- Language Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English for effective communication with groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
