Executive Operations, INC. A tenured logistics company, is partnered with FedEx, INC as an Independent Service Provider (ISP). We are looking for an on-site Operations Manager to join our growing team in Bowling Green, Ohio._ Candidates living in close proximity to the FedEx station location are preferred._

FedEx Station Location: 2490 Woodstream Dr, Bowling Green, OH 43402

Manager Requirements:

• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and DOT physical.
• Physically willing, ready, and able to drive a P-1000 sized vehicle (Large Step Van) and safely deliver packages to both residential and commercial recipients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan Routes for daily operations on a nightly basis using DRO (Dynamic Route Optimization) every weeknight.
• Review route commitments in DRO every day and ensure routes are designed and ran for optimal efficiency.
• Ensure that vehicles are parked in their appropriate and designated spots for loading, communicate any changes to parking spots with AWAD via email, and ensure scanners and ground cloud devices are charged 100%.
• Find replacement or run a route if anyone no shows.
• Maintain contact with DAs throughout their shifts and address any issues they might have and relay any emergencies they have to the appropriate channels; maintain continual communication with external customers and suppliers.
• Ensure Driver compliance in ground cloud, watched videos, coach daily based on score cards.
• Responsible for the training of every new driver to ensure compliance with all company policies and regulations.
• Organize or help with emergency field repairs (e.g., minor field repairs, pull-puts, tire changes, tows, etc.).
• Willing to serve as a contingency resource and deliver packages in the event of driver call-offs, driver shortages, heavy volume, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
• Accountable for ensuring Driver compliance with daily duties regarding paperwork, Hours of Service compliance, Pre-Trip/Post-Trip inspection.

Working Conditions:

• Dock environment: exposure to varied weather conditions, exhaust, fumes, dust, noise.
• Hours may vary due to operational need.
• Frequent contact with service center personnel; fast-paced, deadline oriented.

Additional Qualifications:

• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial spirit.
• MS Office experience required.
• Former dispatch, brokerage or driver management background is a plus.
• Firm understanding of US DOT regulations.
• Experience interacting with Element (Xcelerate), eMentor/Geo-tab, rental companies (Hertz/Merchant Fleet), body shops, tow companies, parts suppliers, etc.
