UEC is seeking a Field Geologist for it's South Texas based uranium exploration and production programs. The successful candidate will possess prior experience or the ability to be trained in conducting lithological descriptions, correlations, and interpretations of geophysical logs, and assistng with management of drilling rigs and associated drilling personnel. The candidate will work on-site in conjunction with company geologists and other personnel. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in a variety of computer office and mapping programs including Microsoft Office and ESRI. Experience with GIS (or related software), log interpretation and correlation, sonstruction of stratigraphic and structural cross-sections, and GPS proficiency a plus. Position Requirements:

1. Must be at least 18 years of age.

2. BS in Geology

3. Must be able to speak, read, write and undertand english. Good Communication skills are necessary.

4. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

5. Must have a valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the work week to each site location.

6. US Citizen or appropriate documentation to work in the United States.

7. Have strong organizational and interpersonal skills with demonstrated leadership skills.

8. Ability to work independently or within a team.

9. Have two years of field experience a plus.

10. Experience in the Uranium industry a plus.

11. Experience with geologic logging and mapping a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
