As a Field Sales Analyst (FSA) you will directly contribute to the achievement of customer team objectives by working closely with business teams to analyze all aspects of business plans and provide recommendations to business leaders around DPSM to influence business results with the customer. You’ll play a critical role in ongoing business management by communicating results, gaps and action plans via reporting and commentary to customer teams and business leaders. You’ll interact with Sales team Director, BDM/CBP, Category Analysts, Shopper Marketers, BA, Customer Replenishment Analyst, Customer Forecast Analyst, Customer Service Analyst, Production Planning, Supply Chain teams and Order Settlement.

Essential Accountabilities:

  • Assist Business Development Manager (BDM)/Sr. Customer Business Managers (Sr. CBPs) and Sales Leaders in annual operating plan process for assigned customer team(s) to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.

  • Assist BDM/Sr. CBP with customer meetings and negotiations when directed to help K-C and Customer achieve business objectives.

  • Assist BDM/Sr. CBP in developing retail activation plans for in-store execution.

  • Assist BDM/Sr. CBP in creating customer contracts and other account specific needs.

  • Assist BDM/Sr. CBP in addressing service issues and opportunities by working with supply chain and other cross functional team members.

  • Analyze results vs. objectives and bring recommendations to BDM/Sr. CBP to develop gap closure plans if/when plans are not delivering business objectives.

  • Analyze results and assist in preparation for Business Plan Review (BPR) process for assigned customer team.

This role reports to a Team Director.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Advanced analytical proficiency with at least 2+ years’ experience in sales data analysis, forecasting or supply chain.

  • Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Proficiency with Nielsen and Madrid/RetailLink.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of forecasting, supply and demand processes, shelf reset experience, business planning processes and tools.

  • Experience working in Consumer Package Goods (CPG) industry and K-C customer/retailer accounts.

  • Proficiency using TPM.

  • Track record of developing recommendations that lead to exceeding results.

  • Results, strategy and vision orientation, advanced analytical, data extraction and analysis, trends and insights development, strong oral and written communication, business intuition and a relationship builder.

  • Strong customer focus, prioritization and time management, active listening and ability to work independently.
