Your role

To best serve our customers, we are increasing our presence within our field service by creating a Field Service Engineer role located in the Southeast. This supports our mission in providing safe and high-quality service that is performed with great efficiency to our customers. As Field Service Engineer, you are an important part of this mission. You will be close to your customers and service all our brands and products to provide a great customer experience. You will report into the Regional Team Lead.

• You will be our customer's first contact and an ambassador and technical expert for our brands.
• You will troubleshoot customer systems to ensure that they are operating at the desired quality and productivity.
• You will engage others in the organization to guide 100% of field issues to completion.
• You will create detailed service reports for customers and update them in the database.
• You will inspect warranty claims from customers and gather the data required to validate a warranty claim.
• You will train customers in the correct use of Atlas Copco IAS equipment and software
• You will train other Atlas Copco personnel in the repair of equipment.
• This is a full-time position with a work schedule. You may need to work early, late occasionally, or on weekends as the workload requires.
• You may travel up to 70% travel locally, and 30% nationally.

• You have a minimum 2 years of experience with troubleshooting/ resolving fi eld equipment issues.
• You have blueprint and technical reading skills.
• You are customer-focused and take ownership of meeting the customer's needs.
• You will be reporting remotely to the New Hudson facility.
• You are familiar with manufacturing/production or assembly-plant working condition.
• You understand technical concepts and can detail it in writing.
• You are motivated to achieve targets.
