Job – Senior Field Service Technician

Job Description:

The Senior Field Service Technician’s responsibility is to diagnose issues, estimate, safety conscious, complete repairs, monitor, and train repair specialists. It is their duty to be the point of contact and actively listen and communicate with our customers. Using critical thinking to identify the proper plan of action.

Job Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):

Job Requirements:

• Maintain clean working area at all times
• Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Not afraid of heights
• Diagnosing problem areas on roofs and their penetration points
• Flat roofing experience
• Shingle roofing experience
• Gutter experience
• Ability to give direction to a roofing crew if replacement is needed
• Knowledgeable with multiple roofs such as TPO, Shingle, Metal, tar and gravel
• Point of contact and working directly with customers
• Provide training, guidance and opportunity for Repair Specialists
• Documentation of work with notes, photos, emails and phone calls
• Ensure worksite safety and adjust as needed

Job Qualifications:

• Driver’s License and clean driving record (required)
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to operate basic hand and power tools
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs
• Able to go up and down a ladder
• Ability to work independently

Education:

• 5+ years of experience in construction
• Construction Management Degree (preferred)
• High School Diploma
