All employees work virtually from home office; therefore a minimum requirement is that employees have home office space and high-speed internet. This role requires employees to work non-standard hours to support global needs, employees are generally expected to be able to work during standard core hours (i.e. 9am to 5pm) when non-standard hours are not required.

Job Summary


Responsible for ensuring accurate, reliable and timely high quality member information and data to support IIBA’s internal and external reporting and analysis including the creation and maintenance of IIBA dashboards. This includes IIBA regular scheduled KPI and ad-hoc reporting, as well as reconciliations.


Responsibilities

  • Support the ongoing development and enhancements to the Data Analytics tool for the organization
  • Create/manage standard reports and adhoc queries for IIBA KPI reporting by assisting business users on establishing and maintaining dashboards
  • Develop and implement various financial analyses including, but not limited to product/certification profitability, trends and drivers
  • Support the CFAO in quarterly reporting to Board of Directors on key indices
  • Gain thorough understanding of Data Analytics (Snowflake, Looker), Salesforce, Fonteva, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and PowerBI and how to manipulate large databases
  • Support the CFAO in financial analysis for acquisitions and/or new channels of partnerships
  • Support business users with data requirements, reporting and analysis
  • Export data in various formats
  • Continuously, improve procedures; develop reports to drive insight and accountability

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Business, preferably with Financial Designation or in process of acquiring a Financial Designation (CPA)
  • 3-5 years of Financial Analyst experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and PowerBI (or equivalent)
  • Strong initiative & analytical skills and the ability to “translate” financial language effectively to all levels within the organization
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Extremely organized and motivated self-starter
  • Experienced in building and maintaining financial models
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and/or Salesforce/Fonteva would be considered an asset
  • Non-Profit and Member Association experience preferred
  • Virtual work office experience preferred
