Tupelo Honey is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the buzz at our “Hive” team. The Analyst will assist the Finance Team with store financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting. This position will report to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. We are looking for an experienced finance professional with a high degree of personal accountability and independence as well as eagerness to learn new skills. Advanced experience in Excel is ideal.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Store Financial Analysis & Reporting:

• Gather, analyze, and report on past and current financial data.
• Provide weekly sales and labor tracking, forecasting, and analysis by store.
• Assist in budget preparation, consolidation, and analysis.
• Analyze current revenue and expenses against financial plan.
• Consolidate and report weekly financial data to operational leaders.
• Evaluate labor use versus plan and communicate results to store managers.
• Provide sales trends and product mix analysis, as needed.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
• Advanced Excel skills is a must, including but not limited to: Pivot Tables, V-Look-Ups, Index-Match/If Statements, Table Set-ups.
• Working knowledge of advanced ERP systems.
• Possess analytic and problem-solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet multiple project deadlines.
• Ability to communicate and present financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers.
• Ability to contribute effectively and independently manage workflow and productivity.
• Ability to contribute to team decision making, goal setting, and problem solving.
