Summary
The Fiscal Generalist
is responsible for:
- understanding the means by which Wildwood is reimbursed for the services it provides;
- the review and analysis of all funding streams with a focus on revenue maximization;
- all preparation and submission of external financial reports;
- providing analysis and guidance to the internal budgeting and cost monitoring function.
- identifying and managing systemic opportunities for the procurement of various good and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
- Prepares and manages grant reporting process with various state agencies
- Assists in preparation of external and internal audit materials.
- Prepares state required budgets for current and new programs and services.
- Prepares quarterly and annual reports for Government funding sources and regulatory agencies.
- Assists the Associate Director of Finance and Controller in the preparation of the Consolidated Fiscal Report.
- Assists the Chief Financial Officer in budget preparation based on organization's performance, estimated revenue, expense reports, and past budget numbers.
- Works directly with program directors to help manage information on budgets, payroll reports and monthly expense reports.
Additional Requirements:
- A valid New York State Driver’s License and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required.
