Salary:

$22-$24/hour ($17/hr. base rate + tips which average an additional $5-$7/hr.)

Full Time - Open Availability Required on Weekends (Friday - Sunday)

About the job

Our newest Elephants Delicatessen location is also one of our largest. We opened in the Lake Grove area of Lake Oswego in Sept 2022, it features our popular grab-and-go selections plus a grill, fresh prepared foods, gelato, wine, beer, espresso service, and specialty grocery items.

Elephants Deli is looking for a food service professional that can answer this question with action. We need a people-person who thrives when supporting other hospitality experts and team players. As a Floor Manager, you love to be the hero and you are eager to help! You have service in your heart. You have a soft approach to accountability but can maintain control. You are friendly and authentic. You lead by example and by supporting your staff.

You’ll be out on the floor, working alongside the team and looking for opportunities to help them perform every day. You’ll cross-train on every role in the restaurant and be able to step into action to support your team at a moment’s notice.

This job offers a chance to feel a sense of ownership for an energetic person who loves freedom and flexibility to make decisions in the moment. You won’t be micromanaged, but you will be part of the Elephants Deli Herd, which offers strong support in helping you and your team be successful while still having fun! A food handlers card and OLCC is required for this position.
